Workshop Title: |
The Cyber Situation Awareness Workshop |
|
Dates: |
February 8-11th, 2011 |
|
Location: |
The Legado Hotel |
|
Objective: |
This workshop was inspired by a MURI grant from the Army Research Office on Computer-Aided Human-Centric Cyber Situation Awareness (SA). It is clear that situation awareness (SA) in the cyber world differs from SA in the physical world in terms of tempo, uncertainty, information volume, etc. As part of this funded effort we are examining how situation awareness extends to the cyber domain with the objective of improving cyber SA. This workshop was developed to provide a better understanding of the human role in cyber security that includes the human's cognitive tasks, challenges, capabilities, and SA relevant processes |
